De UR12e is een collaboratieve 6-assige robot met een draagvermogen van 12,5 kg en een reikwijdte van 1300 mm. Met een herhaalbaarheid van ±0,05 mm en een compacte voetafdruk van Ø 190 mm is hij ideaal voor nauwkeurige taken waarbij zware gereedschappen worden gebruikt. De UR12e weegt 33,5 kg, heeft beschermingsklasse IP54 en beschikt over 17 ingebouwde veiligheidsfuncties die voldoen aan PLd Categorie 3.
De besturing verloopt via de gebruiksvriendelijke Polyscope 5-software op een 12-inch touchscreen. De UR12e ondersteunt interfaces zoals Modbus TCP, PROFINET, Ethernet/IP en ROS, waardoor naadloze integratie in bestaande automatiseringssystemen mogelijk is. Digitale en analoge I/O’s en URCaps maken eenvoudige uitbreiding met componenten van derden mogelijk.
Typische toepassingen zijn onder meer het laden van machines, verpakken, inspecteren en het hanteren van zware onderdelen.
