De ABB IRB 920-6/0.55 is een krachtige 4-assige SCARA-robot met een reikwijdte van 550 mm en een draagvermogen van 6 kg. Met een herhaalbaarheid tot 0,02 mm en cyclustijden vanaf 0,31 seconden is hij ideaal voor snelle pick-and-place-, assemblage- en inspectietaken. Het compacte ontwerp met interne kabelgeleiding minimaliseert de benodigde ruimte en vereenvoudigt de integratie in modulaire productiecellen.
De IRB 920 is compatibel met de OmniCore-controllers van ABB (E10, C30, C90XT) en ondersteunt tot 20 I/O-signalen, geïntegreerde luchttoevoer (6 bar) en Ethernet-communicatie. Dankzij optionele IP54- en ISO5-cleanroomvarianten is hij geschikt voor elektronica-, farmaceutische en laboratoriumomgevingen.

A choice of 450, 550 and 650mm reach options meet the requirements for a range of different operations. An extended stroke of 300mm supports applications requiring additional vertical reach.
