The LOCTITE EQ PU20 peristaltic hose pump transports low viscosity liquids by means of pressure displacement, exerted via a rotating rotor on a liquid-carrying hose. Usually, these pumps are chosen when liquids are hazardous or difficult to handle and it is advisable to minimize operator contact with them. Another reason is that peristaltic pumps operate without a compressed air supply. Dosing times can be set from 0.01 - 99.99 seconds, with flow rates of 0.01-6 ml/min when using PTFE tubing. The pump operates in two directions, allowing back suction to prevent possible dripping of the liquid. When dispensing light-curing adhesives, only black hoses may be used. This prevents the adhesive from curing in the hoses.
