Unitree G1 Pro – Greater dynamism and freedom of movement
The Unitree G1 Pro enhances the G1 humanoid platform with greater mobility and performance for dynamic applications. With 29 degrees of freedom, including seven per arm and a 3-DOF waist, the Pro version enables more complex and natural movement sequences than the G1 Basic. The knee joints achieve a maximum torque of up to 120 Nm, whilst the arms are designed to handle loads of around 3 kg. Additional movement routines support, amongst other things, dance, kung fu and rolling movements. This makes the G1 Pro particularly suitable for shows, events, research, universities and demanding demonstrations where high movement dynamics and versatile humanoid kinematics are key.

How to control the Unitree G1 Pro
Depending on the application, the Unitree G1 Pro can be operated using a range of different control options. For demonstrations and predefined movement sequences, the robot can be conveniently operated using the supplied remote control. Wireless communication options via Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 are also available. For more advanced applications, the G1 platform offers interfaces for SDK-, DDS- and ROS2-based communication, through which motion, sensor and status data, amongst other things, can be processed. With the G1 Pro, however, the focus is on utilising existing motion and performance functions. The development-oriented G1-E variant is specifically designed for extensive in-house software development and custom control tasks.
