Force Torque Sensor

The Force Torque Sensor gives collaborative robots precise tactile feedback for advanced automation tasks. It measures forces up to 200N on the Z-axis with a high resolution of 0.1N, allowing detection of very small contact changes. Designed for direct flange mounting, it is fully compatible with Fairino cobot models FR3, FR5, FR10 and FR16, offering a compact and robust solution for accurate force and torque measurement.

Thanks to true plug-and-play integration via a 5-pin M12 connector, installation is fast and calibration is minimal. Real-time force data is available directly in the robot controller, enabling compliant motion, contact-based triggers and constant-force control. This tight integration simplifies programming, increases repeatability and supports use with a wide range of grippers and end-of-arm tools.

Typical applications include sensitive gripping of fragile parts, force-controlled assembly such as press-fitting or insertion, and surface processes like sanding or polishing with constant pressure. It is also ideal for stacking, inspection and human-robot collaboration where safety, responsiveness and process quality are critical.
