De EPSON ProSix VT6-A901S-DC is een compacte 6-assige industriële robot met een bereik van 920 mm en een draagvermogen tot 6 kg. Met een herhaalbaarheid van ±0,1 mm is hij ideaal voor nauwkeurige pick & place-, assemblage- en inspectietaken. Ontworpen volgens het ‘net genoeg’-principe, biedt hij een ruimtebesparende, kosteneffectieve oplossing met minimaal onderhoud.
Het belangrijkste kenmerk: de robot ondersteunt directe gelijkstroomvoeding, bijvoorbeeld via de accu’s van automatisch geleide voertuigen (AGV’s), waardoor een DC/AC-omvormer overbodig is. De besturing verloopt via de ingebouwde controller en wordt geprogrammeerd met behulp van Epson’s krachtige RC+-software, die simulatietools en een GUI-builder bevat.
