The CGS2‑40 is a lightweight, highly efficient 2‑jaw parallel gripper engineered for precise and repeatable gripping tasks. With an external gripping force of 117 N, a jaw stroke of 2.5 mm and a recommended handling weight of 0.64 kg, it delivers an excellent balance of power and control. Its robust T‑slot guide ensures stable motion, long service life and high resistance against shocks or demanding production environments.
The gripper operates at 3–8 bar, achieving extremely fast opening and closing times of just 0.015 seconds. It supports standard sensors for reliable position feedback and allows the use of long fingers thanks to a maximum permissible length of 70 mm. With a weight of only 90 g and a compact footprint, it integrates seamlessly into tight machine setups and diverse automation concepts.
