The entry-level S-LAB panel handling system

The S-LAB automated plate handler is an entry-level automation solution designed for multiple applications and ease of use. The S-LAB is capable of operating standalone, loading plates into a wide variety of automatable benchtop instruments from various manufacturers. For an ever-growing list of standard instruments, PAA can offer rapid installation. For other instruments, they can provide a bespoke integration service. The Control of the plate handler is simple. S-LAB can be controlled via an intuitive user interface on a laptop, tablet or smartphone.

In order to be able to perform the tasks in the laboratory optimally, PAA uses linear guides and energy chains from igus. Energy chains increase the lifespan of cables and hoses. Due to their protection, they reduce downtimes and are easy to maintain. With the help of a linear guide from igus, the plate stacker can be moved up and down. This task is performed lubricant-free by our toothed belt axis.
