The BierRobert is a cobot designed to help combat the shortage of skilled workers in the restaurant industry. The robot is safe to work with humans. In addition, the BierRobert is a humanoid and can therefore interact and communicate with humans. Another highlight is that the avatar can be customized to represent a bartender, for example.

The ReBel used is a cobot certified low cost 6-axis robot from igus®. The robot has a reach of 664 mm and a maximum payload of 2 kg. On request, the robot can also be mounted on a drylin® seventh axis. With the igus free igus Robot Control Software, the robot can be easily programmed for the respective application.
